The Red Sea Project - Lockdown Edition

Red Sea Project Lockdown Edition – Now available on Amazon

How are you all dealing with the Lockdown? I hope you and your friends and family are all safe and well - I am glad to say we are all in good shape here.

When the Lockdown started, I used the time to take another look at the `Red Sea Project` which I first published on KDP last October 2019.

I really liked reading the story again but I wanted to write more about the characters. I enjoyed meeting up with them all again and decided to share a bit more about them and what they were experiencing during their big adventure together.

It`s good fun to read a book for a second time. Have you re-read any of your favourite books again? Perhaps we will find things we didn’t notice first time around. And as a writer I found that I wanted to fill the story out a bit. That meant reading each chapter and seeing how I could share a little more of the story with you.

This time I found that Sidiki was even nastier than we already knew. And I became more worried about Veronika. She seems to be taking a big chance spending time with Sidiki.  We don’t really know how John Denman is going to deal with this dangerous Iranian.

Dougal is making some progress being on his own for the first time but he is still unsure about how to deal with Frankie. Frankie is enjoying her `rich girl` status as she organises private jets and trips in Land Rovers and posh meals for her friends. But sometimes she seems to be a bit embarrassed – or does she?

There are some challenging things going on for the Palestinians and the Israelis. The tragic experience of Jan`s family sets up today`s problems in the Middle East. The Red Team want to help sort out some of the problems and their Red Sea Project is beginning to take shape -but first they need to rescue their kidnapped friends. Faqri begins to step up but is distressed by what might have happened to the German girl he met on the bus to Damascus. Fortunately, their new friend Ritu from India is organising things. If they can all get back to the Academy safely, perhaps James Ransom will be able to help them get the Red Sea Project up and running.

See you all again soon, your friend Jim
